Are there any restrictions when configuring outbound CNAM for my numbers?
Yes there are. You must use only valid CNAM information and you CANNOT use the names of Government Agencies, Business Names that you are not authorized to use, obscenities, offensive names, slander, etc... Customers' who do not comply with the above detailed parameters are subject to an account review which can potentially lead to an immediate suspension or cancellation of services.

Why has a "Toll-Free Abuse" ticket been opened on my account?
This ticket has been opened because your account has been identified as being in violation of our Terms of Service; specifically in relation to inbound use of any Toll-Free number(s) that are provisioned to your account.

All Toll-Free Numbers which are active on the Callcentric Network are subject to our "Toll-Free Origination Acceptable Use Policy". This policy is defined in section "5-F" of our Terms of Service which can be reviewed at anytime from the following page of our website: http://www.callcentric.com/terms/.

As part of our "Toll-Free Origination Acceptable Use Policy"; it is required that customers properly configure their Callcentric accounts to successfully complete calls to their Toll-Free DIDs (either via receiving the calls directly to an Extension/IVR, configuring your inbound toll-free calls to automatically forward to valid third-party numbers, connecting calls to Callcentric or a third-party providers voicemail service).

Additionally, customers are prohibited from using Callcentric Toll-Free DIDs for any abusive, fraudulent, harassing, defamatory deceptive, or any similar behavior.

Accounts which have been deemed in violation of "Toll-Free Origination Acceptable Use Policy" are subject to account review, having their Toll-Free Numbers removed from active routing, or a suspension/cancellation of their services.

Why am I required by Callcentric's TOS to configure my Toll-Free Number(s) to successfully complete calls?
Our underlying carriers have restrictions pertaining to Toll-Free Origination Traffic (specifically in relation to attempted calls that do not complete and/or short duration calls (less than 1 minute) which when violated can ultimately result in large surcharges and penalties that we pay on the provider side.

To minimize the potential of these surcharges/penalties from being applied which could ultimately result in price increases for all customers; we require that customers using our service for Toll-Free Origination comply with our "Toll-Free Acceptable Use Policy".

Our "Toll-Free Acceptable Use Policy" is defined in section "5-F" of our Terms of Service which can be reviewed at anytime from the following page of our website: http://www.callcentric.com/terms/.

I purchased/activated a "Dirt Cheap DID" after 1/24/14. Do I need to pay the "$5 Number Unlock Fee" in order for this number to port-out (LNP) successfully?
Yes, to port-out (LNP) any Callcentric "Dirt Cheap DID(s)" (activated after 1/24/14) a "$5 Number Unlock Fee" will need to be paid before the number will be released to any third-party providers.

Please note however that Callcentric Dirt Cheap DIDs do not have any Setup/Activation Fees whatsoever, when they are originally ordered.

If you would like to port a Callcentric "Dirt Cheap DID" (that was activated AFTER 1/1/2014) to another provider, please login to your account and submit a support ticket under the "Number Port-Out" category and a Callcentric Support Representative will assist you with unlocking your "Dirt Cheap DID(s)".

I purchased/activated a "Dirt Cheap DID" prior to 1/24/14. Do I need to pay the "$5 Number Unlock Fee" in order for this number to port-out (LNP) successfully?
NO. The "Number Unlock Fee" is only applicable for "Dirt Cheap DIDs" that are ordered/activated on Callcentric Service AFTER January 24, 2014.
