Which iOS Versions is the app compatible with?
To use our app your device needs to be running iOS 9.0 or later.

Do I have to use the Callcentric iPhone App in order to send/receive text messages on my SMS Enabled DIDs?
No. You can also send/receive text messages in real-time on your SMS Enabled DIDs by using the SMS Message Center in the MyCallcentric Portal.

Can I choose which messages the App sees?
Yes. By going to the Settings -> SMS -> Numbers Enabled On This Device section (of the App) you can select which SMS Enabled Number(s) can be actively used to send/receive messages via the App.

Can I send messages directly from the "Call Log" and "Contacts" pages in the App?
Yes. By long pressing numbers on the "Call Log" and "Contacts" pages in the app, you will be provided with the following options:

-Send a message
-Initiate a Click2Dial Callback
-Copy Phone Number

Can I view chat messages after disabling SMS on a Number?
Yes, you can still access the conversations locally within the App(Android/iOS) as long as the Chat entries are not deleted. You will also find partial logs via the Web Interface.

Please note that you will not be able to continue conversations on the phone number until SMS is enabled again.

Will this App allow me to delete Individual messages for privacy and security?
Yes, you can delete Individual messages within a thread/conversation. However, this deleting will not be reflected on the Web Interface.

If inbound messages are sent to numbers enabled for use on the app while my device is out of service (airplane mode, powered off, no data/Wifi signal available, etc); will I receive these messages once service to my device is restored?
Yes, you will receive these messages upon restoring an active connection to your device.

Please note, however, your ability to receive messages is dependent on how long your device has been out of service.

Can I turn off Push-Notifications while using the Web Interface?
Unfortunately, this is NOT possible at this time. The App will continue to receive Notifications. We hope to add "Silent Push" functionality in future updates.

Does Callcentric support jailbroken iPhone devices?
No. While it may be possible to use some portions of the app on jailbroken iPhone devices, this configuration is entirely unsupported and not guaranteed in any way whatsoever.

Can I backup my App chat logs to Google Drive, iCloud, etc?
Unfortunately, we do not support backing up chat logs from our iPhone App at this time.

However you can export individual SMS conversations (in either the .csv or .txt file formats) via the SMS Message Center in the MyCallcentric Portal.

Is there an Android App?
Unfortunately, there is NO Android App at this time. It is on our To Do list and hope to have this available at some point in the future. There is no ETA at this time.
