Troubleshooting

Why are calls to my Verizon number failing?

Your mobile provider (Verizon) is most likely blocking the incoming calls.

Solution 1: Disable Verizon Call Filter

  • Open the Call Filter app on your device.
  • Navigate to Account > Current plan > Manage plan.
  • Select No plan to turn off Spam protection.
  • Tap Review changes, then tap Confirm.

Tip: Before turning it off, check the Recents tab in the Call Filter app to see if the missing incoming calls were automatically blocked or flagged as spam, and mark them as "Not Spam" if you find them.

Solution 2: Use a Softphone App (Recommended)

  1. Create a new extension and connect a softphone app like Bria to answer calls over data/Wi-Fi:
  2. Create a new call treatment rule to direct incoming calls to that extension.
Note: Bria is a paid third-party app ($0.99/month or $9.99/year), but offers a 14-day free trial.

If calls continue to fail, please open a support ticket so our team can review it for you.
