CounterPath offers a number of softphones that work well with Callcentric and are available both for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux.
CounterPath currently offers the X-Lite software for free, and the eyeBeam software which includes additional functionality,
including the G.729 codec for low bandwidth (I.E. Dial-up connections) connections.
Note: If you are using an internet connection with less than 80kbps upload/download speed; X-Lite will not work well if at all for you.
We do not recommend using X-Lite on dial-up modem connections or other slow connections. |
