| HOW TO FACTORY RESET YOUR D-LINK DVG-1402S |

| The steps below will perform a reset to factory defaults of your DVG-1402S. This will either erase ALL
settings in your DVG-1402S, or will restore them to defaults as set by the provider you purchased your unit from. |

STEP 1
|
Unplug the power connector from your DVG-1402S. |
STEP 2
|
On the back of the DVG-1402S find the recessed "Reset" button next to the
power connector. |
STEP 3
|
Use a paperclip to push in and hold the recessed "Reset" button. While
holding the "Reset" button down, plug the power cable back into the DVG-1402S. |
STEP 4
|
After 5-7 seconds the "Alarm" light will begin to flash on the front of the DVG-1402S. |
STEP 5
|
Release the "Reset" button on the back of the DVG-1402S. |
Your DVG-1402S has now been reset to factory defaults, and should be accessible from a web browser using the address:
http://192.168.15.1
