Launching Linphone |

Launch Linphone using the shortcut either on your desktop, your start/applications menu, or your applications folder. Once launched please go to your preferences.
- For OSX you can click on the Linphone menu at the top left of the screen. Then click on Preferences.
- For windows please click the File menu at the top left of the application. Then click on Preferences.

Configuring your Callcentric account |

We will now create a profile and enter the required credentials, such as your Callcentric number, password and SIP server. To do this click on the Manage SIP Accounts tab:
* You may define the settings for your Default identity according to your preferences.
We will now add a new account by clicking on the Add button and entering the information required:
| Your SIP identity | sip:1777MYCCID@callcentric.com; Where 1777MYCCID is your Callcentric number. Your Callcentric number starts with 1777 and has an additional 7 digits. |

| Registration duration (sec) | 60 |

Once done click OK. You will now be prompted to enter the following:
| UserID | sip:1777MYCCID@callcentric.com; Where 1777MYCCID is your Callcentric number. Your Callcentric number starts with 1777 and has an additional 7 digits. |
| Password | Enter your SIP Password here. Your SIP password is the same password you create when you sign up for you Callcentric account. Optionally you may change it in your preferences. |

Configuring extra settings |

We will now configure settings related to your network in order to make sure you maintain a stable registration to your Callcentric account as well as your audio codecs. You may investigate video calls if you wish; however we were not able to get this to work normally.
Please make sure that the following options are configured:
Under the Network settings tab
Direct connection to the internet: Selected
Under the Codecs tab
Please configure ONLY PCMU and PCMA as your available codecs. You may change this later on if you wish however these are the settings we recommend as the default. All other codecs should be disabled at this point:
Click Done to save your changes. You should be taken back to the main window, where at the bottom you should see that you have successfully registered. If you are not successfully registered please check your password and make sure you entered the correct 1777 number.

That's it! You can now make a phone call. |

You can make a test call to 17771234567, or if you are signed up for one of Callcentric's rate plans you
can place a call to a traditional landline or mobile phone by dialing either:
1 + the area code and number for calls to the US
Or
011 + the country code, area code, and number for calls worldwide
(you may also use 00 instead of 011).
